Chickpea Tarhana Soup

A comforting tarhana chickpea soup with mint and yogurt – hearty, creamy and perfect for winter.
Ingredients
| 220 g | chickpeas (soaked overnight) |
| 4 tbsp | tarhana |
| 1.5 l | water |
| 1 glass | water |
| 50 g | soup noodles |
| 2 tbsp | dried mint |
| - | Salt to taste |
| - | Yogurt for serving |
Preparation

Cook soaked chickpeas in water for 10–20 minutes until tender.

Bring water to a boil in a pot. Dissolve tarhana in a glass of water and add while stirring. Add chickpeas, mint and salt, then noodles. Simmer for about 15 minutes until cooked. Serve topped with yogurt.
