St. Martin’s Sweet Pretzel

Soft golden yeast pretzels brushed with butter and coated in sugar – a cozy seasonal treat.

Ingredients

20 gfresh yeast
500g flour
250 ml Yayla milk (lukewarm)
90g sugar
100 g melted Yayla butter
melted Yayla 1 packet vanilla sugar
1 tsp winter spice flavoring
2 tbsp butter for brushing
- Sugar for coating

Preparation

Mix yeast with sugar and warm milk. Add remaining ingredients and knead into a smooth dough. Let rise 1 hour.

Shape into 5–7 pretzels, rest another hour, brush with water and bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes. Brush with butter and coat in sugar.
